Semi Final
This years’ semi-final was recorded in Hotel Bruno in Rotterdam. The pitches were livestreamed as a small series of 7 episodes, called: “The Battles”. Each episode was subsequently released in between the recording of the semi-final and the Grand Final.
Grand Final
This years’ final was the first hybrid final ever. The event was hosted at the Hallen Studio’s in Amsterdam. There was limited room for physical audience, the event was livestreamed to enable a larger audience to attend.
Closing words
This edition has been a great success and showed us the benefits of a hybrid event, which will therefore most definitely be continued to later editions of the Philips Innovation Award.
